    The Med<\/b><\/strong>ical cooler bags<\/b><\/strong> have been proven world wide to do maintain this temperature range when the ambient temperature\u00a0 (outside air temperature where you are standing when it is 24C degrees).<\/p>\n

    1. <\/b> \u00a0Batteries\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>– where would the world be without these. Always helpful to have a few floating around in case something goes flat.<\/li>\n

    3. \u00a0Blood Glucose Strips<\/b><\/strong>– it’s important to know if the testing strips are available in the areaof travel. As for the insulin always take extra and keep them close. Definitely a necessity to keep testing on track.<\/li>\n
    4. \u00a0Check in with the Diabetes Educator<\/b><\/strong>and Endocrinologists before leaving (especially if it’s first time travelling overseas). It’ll be a worthwhile session to have.<\/li>\n
    5. \u00a0CGM Patches<\/b><\/strong>– use high-quality patches sfrom branded pharmacy so that when moving is not hindered by your monitor coming unstuck.<\/li>\n
    6. \u00a0Finger Pricker and Lancets<\/b><\/strong><\/b>– spares are always great in case misplaced a few at your last hotel.<\/li>\n
    7. \u00a0Insulin<\/b><\/strong>– the most important of all. Whilst it’s unlikely that ting to pack this important guy we should be aware of how to store it, especially if travelling on a long haul flight. We\u00a0recommend<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0purchasing a portable insulin bag\u00a0to keep your insulin cool and safe.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Take a photo of the doctors travel letter as back up.\n

        1. Ketone Strips<\/b><\/strong><\/b>– ensure they’re within the expiry date and will continue to be for the rest of the trip.<\/li>\n
